Great product, it works! January 7, 2009 Ricci Labbe (Massapequa, NY USA) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
So far so good, I have not seen one flea on my dog since the day i sprayed this product on him.
I would recommend it to anyone!
best flea spray made March 19, 2005 Marie Nopola (northeast OK) 2 out of 3 found this review helpful
You can spray your animals and forget about it for 3 months. It lasts through baths. I live in the deep woods and have 5 dogs. This product works!
It's not as good as it was a few years ago...but... March 19, 2010 William R. Berry (Opelika, AL) 1 out of 2 found this review helpful
A few years ago this stuff was mint for getting rid of fleas; today it's been watered down a bit and not as effective and yet the price hasn't reflected the dilution. That said, relative, it's still one of the best products on the market. Personally, I opt to giving all my animals a good haircut and putting a little light and sunshine on their skin for our summer months and opt to use Ovitrol (which stinks to high heaven so spray outside) but knocks fleas dead on the spot; however won't last more than a week. The beauty of thinning their coats is to use less insecticide and target where its needed most. I'm done wasting my time on home remedies and God knows whatever else folks say work...anything from dirt to lemons to garlic to farts...we own dogs and we depend on their "alarm" barks given where we live. If you've got the money get Frontline in tubes or in bulk and measure the dose out yourself; otherwise the bottle stuff I give a grade of B..buy the largest amount you can afford and shop around; prices are all over the place. Last year (2009), I paid $39.99 for 500ml; I've yet to find it that low anywhere and at Amazon I've found it as low as $43.99 and about $50 altogether with tax and S&H. Good luck and thanks!
Not quite sure November 9, 2008 Tee Kay (California) 1 out of 2 found this review helpful
Yes, Frontline Spray may have contributed to ridding our dog of fleas along with flea baths, Comfortis, Advantage, Frontline, and professionally riding the house and yard of fleas. The spray was helpful, but didn't kill all of the fleas by itself alone.
Our vet thinks that fleas are laughing at us!
Not quite what I expected July 11, 2010 Chris Robert Steinberg II (Michigan) 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
I bought this because when I moved into my new apartment in Austin Tx. I noticed that I had some how picked up some travelers. The fleas were in my carpet, not sure if they came from moving in the furniture or if they were here before I got here. Either way, my fiancee was bringing our cat a few weeks later and we didn't want the cat to get bit like I had. I purchased the Frontline spray hoping that it would kill off the fleas, however, when i got the spray, I used it over the entirety of the carpet. Rubbed it into the carpet, and let it sit overnight. The product says that it should kill the fleas nearly immediately, however I still noticed fleas that night. I sprayed again the following 2 days, still noticed fleas. I purchased a new vacuums and this seemed to be the only thing that got rid of them. I don't know if it was a combination of vacuuming and the spray, but the spray didn't seem to do much on its own. It also stinks and claims to be poisonous, so i think in the future i will be only using it if it becomes a major problem again. I have heard from others that the product seems to be diluted from what it was in the past.
